Wakefield centre Ryan Atkins has said his side are determined to improve their poor form in the Super League.
Wildcats have lost their last four and the squad have now vowed not to shave until they win three games on the trot.
Adkins believes their promise highlights the togetherness in the camp and will help turn their form around.
"This squad is based on unity and togetherness, the spirit is very good and we are determined to put things right," he told BBC Radio Leeds.
Wakefield's latest defeat came at Harlequins on Sunday and left them sixth in the table with seven wins and six defeats so far this season.
They were also knocked out of the Challenge Cup at the fifth-round stage by Super League rivals Wigan.
"I think we are all starting to look like we've been in the film '300'.
"If we play like we did in the defeat at Quins then we may not get those three wins, we'll have beards till the end of the season and I could start looking like Jamie Jones-Buchanan [Leeds Rhinos] from a few seasons back.
"It's something to get the team bonding and it shows the togetherness of us all.
"We felt like that was slipping away from us a bit earlier in the season and this has brought it back.
