Super League side Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have renamed their ground from Belle Vue to Hearwell Stadium. Leeds company Hearwell Direct won a stadium naming rights draw last month. The hearing aid consultants were one of 50 companies to buy tickets for the half-time draw during the Easter Monday derby win over Bradford Bulls. Wakefield commercial manager Ed Curran said: "I'm delighted they have won the naming rights draw. They have supported the club for a number of years." The company, who have offices across Yorkshire, will have the naming rights for the rest of the season after their ticket was drawn out by Wakefield mayor Jacqui Williams. Company owner Nigel Thompson explained: "We're a small family company and if it hadn't have been for a draw like this then there would have been no way I would have been able to afford the naming rights for a stadium such as this. "It's one of those things that when you're a supporter you always think it would be nice to have your name above a stand. And all of a sudden it's there."
