I'Anson signed for Hull KR from Leeds Rhinos in 2007

Hull KR stand-off Chaz I'Anson has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a serious knee injury.

The 23-year-old, who has been on loan at Widnes, requires a reconstruction of his anterior cruciate ligament.

Rovers coach Justin Morgan told BBC Radio Humberside: "It's not good news for Chaz and it'll be a tough battle back. He's out for the season.

"He's had a couple of reconstructions before so he knows the process and I'm sure he'll come back stronger."
