I'Anson hopes to recapture his form with a month at the Stobart Stadium |
Hull KR stand-off Chaz I'Anson has joined Championship side Widnes on a month-long loan. The 23-year-old has been left out of the Robins side for the last two Super League games. The move is designed to give the player more game time, according to Robins coach Justin Morgan. "Sometimes a change of environment can give a player a bit of a boost and he'll get to play games," Morgan told BBC Radio Humberside." I'Anson is still seen as a natural replacement for Paul Cooke, who left Rovers to go to Wakefield in early March. But the Hull-born, former Leeds Rhinos Academy player has struggled for form, losing out in recent games to Aussie Ben Galea. Morgan hopes I'Anson will benefit from the move, adding: "It's a positive move all round. "Widnes are pleased with getting a Super League player and we're looking for Chaz to come back with some form under his belt, some match fitness and ready to press for a place in the side again."
