Castleford Tigers have re-signed former captain Ryan Hudson from Huddersfield Giants on a four-year deal. The 28-year-old hooker spent three seasons at The Jungle between 2002 and 2004 and has also played for Wakefield. "I'm relishing coming back at Cas and looking for a new challenge with the club," said Hudson. "They have top-six ambitions and are recruiting well with some good players coming on board. I will be looking to bring some additional leadership." Hudson added: "There are already some top players at the club and some great youngsters. "I hope that I can play my part in helping us to reach the heights that the club have achieved in the past." Hudson is the second player to leave the Giants for Castleford, after Stuart Jones moved to The Jungle on Thursday. | 606: DEBATE | With the Tigers destined to finish bottom of Super League this season, head coach Terry Matterson has embarked on a major recruitment drive in order to do better next season. NRL stars Rangi Chase, Sione Faumuina and Dean Widders have all signed up to the Castleford revolution next season and more players could still come in. Matterson told BBC Radio Leeds: "I'm very interested in James Evans (of Bradford Bulls). "He's in a contract at the moment, so we've got to work through those processes now. "Hopefully there will be more announcements after Saturday night's final game."
