Morrison joined Bradford from Parramatta |
Bradford vice-captain Glenn Morrison faces another lengthy spell on the sidelines with a cracked rib sustained in Sunday's defeat by St Helens. The Australian second rower, 32, was playing only his second game after a 10-week lay-off with a wrist injury. Coach Steve McNamara told the Telegraph and Argus newspaper: "He's looking at four to six weeks out again. "He is just totally gutted and, after everything else, is absolutely sick to the back teeth." Morrison missed three months of last season with a broken kneecap and a torn quad muscle. | 606: DEBATE |
The former Parramatta player, who is out of contact at the end of the season, made a try-scoring return from a wrist injury against Warrington earlier this month and has already said he wants to stay at Odsal. Bradford will also be without hooker Julien Rinaldi for Friday's derby at Leeds as he awaits the results of a scan on his foot but Wayne Godwin is close to making his return after four months out with a broken leg.
