Rudolph is targeting two wins from Yorkshire's final three games

Yorkshire vice-captain Jacques Rudolph is confident they will still make the Twenty20 Cup finals day despite Monday's surprising defeat at Notts.

Yorkshire lost by 11 runs to the North Division's bottom side to slip to third in the table.

But Rudolph told BBC Radio Leeds: "It's wide open now - three games left and if we can win two of them I think we should be in a good position."

Their final games are against Durham, Leicestershire and Leicestershire.

Yorkshire had been set a competitive 166 for victory by Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge, and Andrew Gale's 76 had put them on course for victory.

But only Gerard Brophy (26) provided the Notts bowlers with any real resistance as Yorkshire reached 154 in their 20 overs.

"There are a couple of areas where we can improve," Rudolph said.

"I think the first six overs didn't go for us as well in the previous games.

"There wasn't really anyone supporting Andrew Gale - he played an unbelievable knock but we needed someone to get 40 off 25 balls to really keep us in the game.

"It was a good game of cricket and we're not going to look into it too deeply."
