Griffin moved to Huddersfield from Wakefield |
Huddersfield prop Darrell Griffin has been cleared to face Salford on Friday after avoiding suspension. Griffin was found guilty by the Rugby Football League's disciplinary panel of a reckless tackle in his side's 13-6 defeat to Castleford. But the former Wakefield front row was fined £300 rather than banned. Catalans Dragons forward Jamal Fakir was handed a two-match ban and a £300 fine after being found guilty of a high tackle on Warrington winger Matt King. Meanwhile, the RFL issued cautions to Oliver Elima (Catalans), Paul King (Hull), Stuart Littler (Salford), Mark Bryant (Celtic), Kylie Leualui (Leeds) and Jon Wilkin (St Helens).
