Wolves savaged by Bulls
Bradford's Tevita Vaikona scored two excellent tries in their win at Warrington
Bradford's Tevita Vaikona scored two excellent tries
Warrington 12-40 Bradford

Super League leaders Bradford scored seven tries at Warrington to open up a two-point lead at the top of the table.

The Bulls' struggling hosts never looked in contention, falling 30-6 behind by the interval and going on to their fifth home defeat in a row.

We exploded into life at times although we were disrupted with injuries in the second half
Bradford Bulls coach Brian Noble
From the moment Bradford took a second-minute lead with an 80-yard move begun by Robbie Paul and Leon Pryce and touched down by Mike Forshaw, Warrington were always overwhelmed by their stylish visitors.

That first score was cancelled out by a Paul Wood try, but by the 14-minute mark it was 18-6 after touchdowns from Paul Deacon - who also kicked five conversions before the break - and Scott Naylor.

Tevita Vaikona and Paul both ran in excellent efforts prior to the change of ends to effectively end the match as a contest, Michael Withers also having a try chalked off for a forward pass.

Warrington refused to give up, though, and on 55 minute deservedly scored a second try through David Alstad, Jon Clarke converting.

We showed some real character and there were quite a few positives from the display
Warrington assistant coach Gary Chambers
However, Bradford secured try number six when Vaikona ran in from long range for the second time in the match.

Withers then ensured he did register a try before Deacon added his sixth conversion.
