Wigan coach Stuart Raper was full of praise for the Great Britian star. "Kris was absolutely outstanding - he is the best full-back in this country if not the world," said Raper.
And after some poor results Raper insisted the performance proved his side can take on anyone. "I thought London stuck with it and put up some resistance but we played some good footie," he said. "When we play well we know we can give ourselves the opportunity to beat any side in the competition." Skipper Andy Farrell was a key player as the Warriors raced into an 18-0 lead by half time. He converted three tries and played a part in each, sending second rower David Furner racing through a huge gap for the Australian to set up Radlinski for the first. Farrell then sent winger Jamie Ainscough on a 50-yard run for number two, and the Great Britain skipper put in full-back Radlinski again for the third try. Hat-trick Radlinski ensured the one-way traffic continued moments into the second half when he put David Hodgson through. The Broncos got on the scoreboard when centre Tony Martin raced in from halfway soon after, but it was only a brief respite for the visitors. Wigan second row Stephen Wild scored the fifth try for the home side before Radlinski sent in Terry Newton. And Radlinski then completed his fifth Super League hat-trick when he finished off a break by Julian O'Neill. Dennis Moran claimed a late consolation try for London, which Martin converted. Broncos coach Tony Rea made no excuses for his side, despite losing Scott Cram with a virus just before kick-off. "That was as bad as I've seen from us," said Rea. "It was a really irresponsible performance from a team that is better than that. "All credit to Wigan they came out of the blocks well and Any Farrell gave them a great start. But at times it looked like we were feeling sorry for ourselves." Wigan: Radlinski, Ainscough, Johnson, Hodgson, Dallas, O'Neill, Lam, O'Connor, Newton, C.
