Waite has so much knowledge about the game

As for Great Britain, we are at a critical stage.

The gap between us and the world champions is decreasing every time we play them.

We are confident we can come out on top when the next Ashes series comes around in 2003.

I certainly want another crack at them.

What we must also do is build a team around the younger players, the guys who have got a taste of international rugby in this series.

Do that, and in a few years time we will have a side that will be capable of great things.

There is also a series against New Zealand to look forward to, which gives us another chance to take our game to the next level.

If we can beat the Kiwis, then we can call ourselves the second best team in the world.

And that would be a major achievement.
