Follow the action from the deciding Ashes Test at the JJB Stadium
All the action from Australia's series-clinching victory over Great Britain in the third Test at Wigan.

80 mins: The referee blows for time and the Kangaroos celebrate retaining the Ashes yet again.

73 mins: Great Britain begin to tire and the gaps start appearing. Barrett gets through and runs over between the posts for his second try of the game. This time Fittler steps up to convert.
Great Britain 8-28 Australia

69 mins: Australia go over again after another high kick but there is a knock-on and the video referee disallows the try.

66 mins: Prop forward Jason Stevens aims a high kick to the corner which MacDougall expertly taps back for Barrett who touches down over the line. Johns misses the penalty kick.
Great Britain 8-22 Australia

62 mins: Johns' kick is flicked back into play by MacDougall but Gidley, who only has to catch the ball to score the try, lets it slip.

60 mins: Fielden is penalised for a high tackle and Australia try to steady the pace of the game.

55 mins: A handling error from Stuart Fielden gives the Kangaroos the initiative once more.

53 mins: Great Britain have an overlap but David Hodgson cuts inside as Senior is passing to him and the ball bounces harmlessly into touch.

52 mins: Blacklock makes a dash down the line but is bundled out by the British defence.

49 mins: Senior bursts through again and shakes off several Australian tackles. Gary Connolly kicks through and takes advantage of the ball hitting the post to get his fingertips to the ball as Lockyer clears. The referee calls for a video verdict: no try.

48 mins: Great Britain burst through with Keith Senior, who passes to Johnson but Adam MacDougall pulls off a try-saving tackle.

45 mins: After a scrum breaks up, several players start scrapping and Jason Ryles is penalised for throwing a punch. Farrell kicks over to cut Australia's lead.
Great Britain 8-18 Australia

44 mins: Blacklock is caught in possession by Pryce, who seizes the ball and runs over the try line. Referee Bill Harrigan calls for the video referee, who disallows the try because of a knock-on.

42 mins: Johns and Barrett combine and set up Brad Meyers for a simple try and Johns kicks Australia further in front.
Great Britain 6-18 Australia

2000 GMT: The teams come out for the second half with the news that Australia coach Chris Anderson has been taken to hospital again after suffering chest pains.


Half-time: Great Britain 6-12 Australia


39 mins: Sculthorpe's well-weighted kick to the corner presents Pryce with a golden chance but the ball slips out of his grasp.

38 mins: Great Britain are having a good spell and only some excellent defending from Johns prevents another try.

36 mins: An inside pass puts Peacock in the clear but he slips on the turf which is beginning to cut up because of the persistent drizzle.

30 mins: Another low kick from Johns causes Great Britain problems but Pryce just manages to shoulder Jamie Lyon out of the way before he can touch down.

27 mins: Trent Barrett's superb pass puts Ben Kennedy through - he feeds Matthew Gidley who crosses over for a try. Johns' kick goes over after hitting the upright.
Great Britain 6-12 Australia

24 mins: For the second time in the match, Sculthorpe kicks directly into touch to give the Kangaroos another chance to attack.

16 mins: An inside pass from Lockyer puts Nathan Blacklock through but the pass is adjudged to be forward and the subsequent try is disallowed.

14 mins: Leon Pryce spills the ball allowing Australia to maintain the pressure. Johns puts through a perfectly weighted kick and fullback Darren Lockyer grounds the ball for his second try of the series. Johns scores the penalty goal.
Great Britain 6-6 Australia

13 mins: Johns' low kick is well defended by Great Britain.

10 mins: Great Britain give away a penalty but Andrew Johns puts his kick left of the posts.

8 mins: Paul Sculthorpe slices a kick allowing Australia their first real attacking chance but Great Britain repel the Aussie charge for the line.

6 mins: Australia are caught outside and Farrell scores the penalty.
Great Britain 6-0 Australia

3 mins: Andy Farrell hits the upright with his goal attempt.

2 mins: Paul Deacon's brilliant high kick puts Australia under immediate pressure. The ball is switched and an overlap allows Paul Johnson to step back inside for a try and a dream start for Great Britain.
Great Britain 4-0 Australia

1 min: Great Britain charge down the field after kicking off and show they mean business with some crunching tackles on the Kangaroos.

1859 GMT: The two national anthems are sung with great gusto by a capacity crowd at the JJB Stadium.

1857 GMT: A firework display welcomes the two teams to the field - GB skipper Andy Farrell looks determined while Brad Fittler looks relaxed as he leads the Kangaroos for the last time.
