York City Knights forward Jordan Ross will still be at the Huntingdon Stadium next season if he does not go to play in Australia. Ross played down under before joining the Knights and has applied for a visa to return. Knights coach Dave Woods told BBC Radio York: "He's said if he doesn't go then he'll definitely be playing for us. "If he goes I've told him I'll find him a club over there because he's a quality kid and a good player." The Knights are in talks with other members of the squad about contracts for next season and have also begun to look elsewhere for new recruits. "We're just going through signing up a couple each week," added Woods. "We've got Jack Stearman and Tom Lineham that have signed up and we're speaking to Luke Hardbottle. "Luke's keen to stay so we'll have a good chat with him. He's been playing really well. "We'll just keep going through the rest of them as we see fit. The majority of them want to stay so that's good news for us."
