York City Knights forward Jordan Ross is expected to be back in contention for a first team place soon after recovering from injury. The 24-year-old broke a cheekbone in a pre-season friendly and is still to make his full debut for the club. Knights coach Paul March told BBC Radio York that the player who signed in the close season is back in full training. "Jordan has trained full-contact all week and he has come through it okay. He is raring to go," March said. March said Saturday's Challenge Cup tie at Warrington Wolves would be too soon for Ross to make the squad "I think he might need a couple of games under his belt before he's pushing for first team selection," March explained. "But it's good news he's ready to go and I can't wait to see him on the field again."
