Paul March is starting his second season as coach of York |
York City Knights coach Paul March says he wants to bring the feel good factor back to the Huntington Stadium. York begin their Northern Rail Cup campaign at home to Whitehaven on Sunday 8 February. March told BBC Radio York there is an air of optimism at the club as they prepare to start the season. "We're putting pressure on ourselves to bring the good times back to Huntington and that's our main goal. The players are building towards that," he said. He added: "If the players can bring the good times back I'm sure the supporters will come back as well." March will have a almost a full squad available for the game against Whitehaven with only three new injury concerns from the pre-season matches. Jordan Ross suffered a broken cheekbone from the match against Hull KR, Steve Lewis has a knee injury and David Clayton has what is being described as a stomach problem. Trialist Lee Waterman is expected to start at full back.
