York City Knights have signed 22-year-old forward Richard Knight from Keighley Cougars.

Knight spent three years at Keighley after joining them from amateur side Huddersfield Sharks.

He has been brought in as a direct replacement for Ross Divorty, who has joined National League 1 Doncaster.

Knights general manager Ian Wilson told BBC Radio York he hoped Knight would bring experience and competition for places in the back row.
