York 2-0 Rushden & Diamonds

Goals from Mark Robinson and Craig Farrell secured a second straight win for York as they saw off Rushden.

Winger Robinson snuck in to convert Farrell's 17th-minute cross to open the scoring with his first of the season.

The home side dominated but had to wait until 50 minutes to add a second, which came courtesy of Farrell tapping Simon Rusk's cross beyond Dale Roberts.

Andrew Burgess, Curtis Osano, Michael Corcoran and Leon Knight all spurned chances for the visitors.
