Colin Walker's side have drawn eight of their 16 league games this season
York City manager Colin Walker believes his side are "on the march" after two wins in a row lifted them into 10th place in the table.
After beating Rushden and Diamonds 2-0, Walker told BBC Radio York: "We came with two game plans, one to go and win the game and one to keep hold of it.
"It's a massive team effort [but] I think we've played better than that football-wise and lost."
Goals from Mark Robinson and Craig Farrell sealed Saturday's win.
York remain unbeaten at home, yet have received criticism from some fans for drawing too many home fixtures.
We've had two games, two 2-0s, two clean sheets, so onwards and upwards

Walker added: "If we'd turned some of those draws into wins we'd be flying - this will put us into the top half of the league and not far behind [the play-off zone].
"Now we've got the relaxation of a couple of nice juicy cup-ties before we get back on to the league programme."
Those ties are both at home to former York boss Billy McEwan's Mansfield, firstly in the FA Cup and then in the Setanta Shield.
Walker felt that Peter Holmes had an "absolutely outstanding" final game for City before going back to Rotherham, who are unwilling to extend his loan.
"We've had two games, two 2-0s, two clean sheets, so onwards and upwards," Walker added.
