Angels perform miracle
Anaheim Angels 6-5 San Francisco Giants

Series tied 3-3

Barry Bonds' first-inning walk ties the record of 11 in a World Series held by Babe Ruth and Gene Tenace
Are the Angels going to pitch to Bonds, who punished them in game five - the answer is no

Kevin Appier is replaced by Francisco Rodriguez who allows Kenny Lofton to score from third on a wild pitch
A tight game comes to life in the fifth as Shawon Dunston hits a two-run shot off Appier

Barry Bonds of the San Francisco Giants hits a home run in the sixth inning giving the Giants a 4-0 lead - Kenny Lofton scores in the following inning to make it 5-0
The first time the Angels pitch to Bonds he goes deep to right field and extends the lead 4-0

Scott Spiezio's shot to right field scores Troy Glaus and Brad Fullmer and brings the score back to 5-3
In the bottom of the seventh Scott Spiezio gets the Angels back into the game with a three-run homer

Centre-fielder Darin Erstad's solo home run brings the Edison Field crowd to their feet as the Angels fight back to 5-4
Darin Erstad's solo home run in the bottom of the eighth brings the Angels to within one of the Giants

Troy Glaus' two-run double brings home the winning runs to cap a memorable fight back form the Angels and force a deciding game seven against the Giants with a 6-5 win
Proving the man is mortal, Troy Glaus' double forces an error from Bonds and brings home the winning runs
