Madeline Perry is ranked eighth in the world

Madeline Perry booked her place in the final of the $25,000 Monte Carlo Classic in Monaco on Thursday.

Perr beat France's Isabelle Stoeher 3-1 in to earn herself a meeting with top- seeded Laura Massaro on Friday.

The Northern Ireland woman took 49 minutes to overcome Stoeher 11-5, 9-11, 11-7, 11-8.

The 32 year-old, who reached this year's British Open final, is ranked eighth in the world - one place higher than English woman Massaro.

Both players reached the semi finals of the recent Qatar Open in Doha in which Perry lost 3-1 to Alison Watters and Massaro was beaten 3-2 by world number one Nicol David.
