Guernsey Captain Shorto put his side ahead by winning both of his frames |
Guernsey regained the Snooker Inter-insular with a titanic 7-3 win over Jersey at the Gremlin club. Captain Adam Shorto put Guernsey 2-0 ahead, but a draw for John Skillett and a defeat for Martyn Desperques to Aaron Canavan levelled the match at 3-3. Adrian Lihou then brought Guernsey to within one match of victory. Paul Le Sauvage delivered brilliant 40 and 27 clearances to secure the victory for the host island and take back the trophy won by Jersey last year.
