Jersey's top snooker players regained the Inter-insular trophy after beating their Guernsey counterparts 6-4 in a hard-fought contest at the weekend.

Gary Britton got revenge on Martyn Desperques, for defeating him in the Channel Island Champion match, beating him 2-0 at the Mechanics Institute.

Guernsey captain Adam Shorto defeated Ray Kilmartin and a draw made it 3-3.

Aaron Canavan put Jersey two ahead and then Sarnian John Skillett just lost the deciding frame to Chris Alexander.
