Guernsey Athletics lifted the Stranger Cup thanks to Saturday's narrow 1-0 win over Sylvans at the Corbet Field.
Tics shaded the first half in a scrappy game which came to life in the last 20 minutes when Sylvans had several chances and were denied by the post.
But Craig Farnham won it for Tics with a low shot into the bottom corner.
"I thought it was a poor game really, a drab game and either side could have won it," Tics coach Steve Ogier told BBC Guernsey Sport.
"But, luckily for us and the spectators, Gramps managed to get one in the net and we didn't have to go to extra time."
Tics' victory caps their first season back since the club reformed.
"It's been quite a hard season," added Ogier, "especially before Christmas getting a team out there.
"Since Christmas it has been OK. We've been working with a squad of about 17."
