 Callan finally won a world gold medal in 2008 after two decades in shooting |
Jersey shooter Gareth Callan won two events at the Muzzleloaders Association of Great Britain's open competition. The "Schutzenfest", which was held in Warwick on Sunday, is a qualifying shoot for selection to the Great Britain Rifle Team. Callan won the offhand flintlock musket and the kneeling matchlock events and took second place in two others. He travels with the Great Britain team to Portugal for the World Championships in August.
