Sheffield Steelers general manager Mike O'Connor has given his backing to head coach Dave Matsos to turn the club's season around.
The Elite League defending champions lie in sixth place after 12 games and trail leaders Belfast by nine points.
O'Connor told BBC Radio Sheffield: "Dave has turned our fortunes around and bought this club a lot of success.
"There is a hangover that is taking longer than expected to go, but we have no inclination to make changes."
The Steelers have won just once at home in the Elite League this season losing seven times to leave their title defence in tatters.
Having already bought in three new faces since the start of the season O'Connor now wants the players to repay the faith the club have shown in them.
"I think we have the guys to do it, we just have a few guys that are struggling at the moment and it's not that they don't want to play well and have good seasons," he said.
"It's just at the moment not happening for them, I don't think there is one guy here that should not be here.
"I have faith in what coach Matsos is doing and every single guy who pulls our shirt on for the games.
"Matsos is our man, he agreed a two year contract extension and he'll see that through," O'Connor added.
