Swindon Wildcats have completed the signing of their former defenceman Yousif Abu Saada for next season.

The 22-year-old played on the Isle of Wight last year, having previously come through the Swindon youth system.

Abu Saada joins former Wildcats forward Gareth Endicott in returning to the Link Centre, much to the delight of head coach Ryan Aldridge.

"I will be looking for him to play simple and hard and I know he will be a big asset to the club," said Aldridge.

"His heart is here in Swindon and he wants to play for his home-town club and he's another good character for the locker room, too.

"He is not the biggest, but he does not get intimidated by it and is not scared to get in the corners and take the body."
