Swindon have re-signed former favourite Gareth Endicott for next season's English Premier League campaign. The forward had been a Wildcat for 17 seasons before moving to the Isle of Wight two years ago, and he returns as a player and assistant coach. Player-coach Ryan Aldridge first played with Endicott 22 years ago in Swindon's junior system. "He's a mature, solid player who brings a wealth of experience - and I trust him to tell me the truth," he said. "When I sat down and thought about having a player assistant on the bench, there was only one choice and I'm pleased that Gareth has signed up to what we're trying to achieve here. "As kids, both of us dreamt of playing for our local team, the Wildcats, and I am excited that now Gareth will be playing such a large role in helping me take this team forward." Endicott is the ninth confirmed signing for Swindon this summer.
