Ryan Aldridge saw his team outclassed by Peterborough |
Swindon were knocked out of the English Premier League play-offs with a 3-2 defeat at Peterborough in the second leg of their quarter-final. The Wildcats were always unlikely to progress after losing 7-2 in the opening match at the Link Centre. Player-coach Ryan Aldridge and Aaron Nell scored Swindon's goals to give the score a measure of respectability. The Phantoms will be joined by Guildford, Milton Keynes and Slough at finals weekend in Coventry.
