Leigh Adams led Swindon Robins to victory at Brandon |
Swindon stretched their lead at the top of the Elite League to five points with an impressive 49-41 win at Coventry. Leigh Adams and Matej Zagar led the way for the Robins with a paid 15 points each, as they remained unbeaten by opposing riders throughout the night. Simon Stead and Paul Hurry provided good support to give Swindon their third away victory of the campaign. Adams told BBC Wiltshire: "It's always nice to get one over the Bees. It's a long year, we'll keep grinding away." Friday's win followed Thursday night's home success over Peterborough. And Adams added: "We've let a couple slip away from home. This is obviously a huge one."
