Steve Thornton has added steel to his roster for next season |
The Belfast Giants have found a new enforcer with the signing of Canadian Sam McMorrow for the 2009/10 season. The right wing has played for the Buffalo Sabres in the NHL and arrives at the Odyssey after a season with ALF side Rockford IceHogs. "No team is going to push us around with me on board," said McMorrow. The Giants have also signed defenceman Tom Walsh while Colin Shields and Dave Phillips are returning for another season with the Elite League team. Walsh, who was drafted by San Jose Sharks, spent last season in the Finnish Elite League with HIFK Helsinki.
