The Belfast Giants are out of the play-offs after a thrilling draw in Wales on Sunday gave Cardiff a 6-5 aggregate win in the quarter-final clash. Matt Towe put the Devils ahead but Dave Phillips and Evan Cheverie netted for the visitors. Phil Hill and Jason Silverton goals put Cardiff back in control until late strikes from Paul Deniset and Cheverie made it all-square on aggregate. Brad Voth sent the Devils through with a goal in overtime.
