Chelmsford Cheiftains narrowly beat Invicta Mustangs on Sunday to extend their lead in ENIHL Division Two South. Chieftains beat their Kent rivals 6-5 at the Gillingham Ice Bowl to top the table by five points from the Mustangs. In one of the toughest matches of their season, the Essex side took control in the second period, edging out a three goal lead which they consolidated. Richard Whiting scored twice, whilst Kane Bartlett, Karl Hooper, Rudi Dzurko and Danny Hammond hit one apiece.
