Swindon hope Kohut will provide some leadership to the side (Alan Bone) |
Swindon Wildcats have signed Slovak forward Jozef Kohut to complete their complement of four foreign players. The 33-year-old played for five years with Guildford where he scored 134 goals in 151 games. Kohut, who has had injury problems, had been playing in the top league in Poland before moving to Swindon. "He will add experience and professionalism to the team and that is what our young squad needs," said Wildcats player-coach Ryan Aldridge. "He is a go-to guy and will help us in all areas and will lead the powerplay. "Jozef is a great signing for the club and will be here for the next two seasons and be a key part of the Wildcats squad."
