Guernsey's women won their second round match in the English Hockey Association Vase after beating Phoenix & Ranelagh 2-0 on Sunday. They now go through to the third round, which is due to played in February. The Sarnians, who like their opponents had been given a bye in the first round, have been in training for the knockout tournament since September. The team has also been playing in the second division of the island's men's league to gain match practice.
