Priaulx lost out in the semi-finals of the 2010 Race of Champions |
Guernsey racing driver Andy Priaulx went out at the semi-final stage of the 2010 Race of Champions held in Dusseldorf on Sunday. Priaulx beat Belgium's Bertrand Baguette in the quarter-final of the knock-out competition, but then lost to Sebastien Loeb in the semi-final. Loeb lost the final to Portuguese wild card entry Filipe Albuquerque. Priaulx said: "It didn't quite come together on Sunday, but I still had a lot of fun." He also helped Team Great Britain to become runners-up at the ROC Nations Cup on Saturday. He won his races against Sebastian Vettel but lost against Michael Schumacher in the final heat. Priaulx added: "While there was no pressure on any of us because there were no championships at stake, we were all pretty competitive."
