Guernsey bowls pair Reg Dowinton and Andrew Crimp won silver after losing 12-2 to Fife at the Special Olympics in Leicester on Thursday. "We were outclassed by this Fife team who were in a different class to us," said team coach Charlie Renouf. "I was very pleased with the whole of our team who did me proud." "I was extremely pleased with Reg Dowinton who has never won anything in his life and now has a silver medal," he added. Crimp adds the silver to the individual bronze he won on Monday.
