Jody Blaney has won her second gold medal at the Special Olympics World Winter Games in Idaho, USA. The Manx athlete added the 25m snowshoe title to her 50m gold from earlier in the week. In the men's 25m final the Isle of Man's Karl Moynihan claimed the silver medal with 50m gold medalist Paul Clucas finishing fourth. Elsewhere, the Manx floor hockey squad are now guaranteed a medal after they reached the final of the event. They defeated Austria 7-3 in the semi-final which was their ninth straight victory at the games. Goal-machine Daniel Kelly scored a hat-trick with Andrew Richardson, Gareth Cowin, Mark Henry and Lawrence Dyer also on target. The Manx side will now face Jordan in the final.
