The Isle of Man Special Olympics floor hockey team have qualified for the semi-finals at the World Winter Games in Idaho, United States.

The Manx team defeated Jordan 7-5 on Wednesday to make it eight wins from eight games.

Andrew Richardson netted four goals with Daniel Kelly, Gareth Cowin and Mark Henry also finding the target.

They Isle of Man team will now face Austria for a second time in the semi-finals, having won the first encounter.

On Thursday, the island's 50m snowshoe gold medallists Jody Blaney and Paul Clucas will compete in the 25m event.
