The Isle of Man Special Olympic squad has won two gold medals at the World Winter Games in Idaho, United States. Jody Blaney and Paul Clucas were both crowned Olympic champions after they won their respective finals of the 50m Snowshoe races. Meanwhile, the floor hockey team still holds a 100% record after winning all seven of their matches so far. The Manx side defeated Austria 8-4 and Cost Rica 9-3 on Tuesday and face Jordan on Wednesday. Andrew Richardson was the star against Austria scoring four goals and Daniel Kelly went one better against the Costa Ricans notching up five.
