Jersey women's bowling team endured a disappointing first day at the British Isles International Series in Worthing as they lost their first two matches.

Jersey's first game against Scotland on Tuesday morning ended in a 124-98 defeat.

England were the opponents in Jersey's second game of the day, in which the islanders went down by 142-105.

Tuesday's games did include two individual wins for Jersey's Sue Dingle and one for Karina Bisson.

Jersey will now line-up against Ireland on Wednesday, before taking on Wales on Thursday.
