Leicester Riders are closing in on several new signings and expect to make an announcement early next week. The club have confirmed that American duo - forward Anthony Simpson and guard JR Brount - are heading the list and hope to wrap up deals for the pair. A club spokesman told BBC Sport: "We are in negotiations but nothing has been finalised yet. "We hope to be in a position to announce new signings at the end of this week or the start of next week."
