Bristol Flyers' six-game winning streak came to an end in Manchester as they were beaten 91-60 on Saturday.

Manchester Magic jumped out to a 58-35 half-time lead with the second half a formality as the Flyers struggled at both ends of the floor.

"Manchester were extremely efficient and completely outplayed us," said Flyers head coach Andreas Kapoulas.

"This was a rude awakening for us. Manchester were quicker in everything they did and we never really competed."

Captain Greg Streete was at the forefront of the Flyers' offensive effort with American forward Doug McLaughlin-Williams scoring 14 points.

However, they were outshone by Magic top-scorers Brandon Kimbrough (30pts) and Stefan Gill (27pts).

Kapoulas added: "We need to put this behind us and concentrate on improving. Energy and toughness will be important ingredients to the tough schedule ahead."
