The duo helped Eagles to BBL Trophy glory in March

Newcastle Eagles coach Fab Flournoy and guard Trey Moore have received the British Basketball League's coach and player of the month awards for March.

The duo helped the Eagles lift the BBL Trophy with a win against Guildford Heat, and nine wins extended their lead at the top of the BBL.

Flournoy is one of the most successful coaches in the league, with nine trophies in eight years.

Moore joined Eagles in July 2008 from BBL rivals Cheshire Jets.
