The Islanders, who are yet to play a game, joined Farnham for training
Guernsey head coach Steve Rains said his players "learnt a terrific amount" when they trained with BAFL Premier side Farnham Knights on Sunday.
Knights are one of the UK's top five teams and are preparing for a European Cup tie with Amsterdam Crusaders.
Rains told BBC Guernsey: "Our guys learnt a terrific amount from their coaching staff and from their players.
"I was pleased with our input. Although we have yet to play a game we did not look out of place in the drills."
And Rains, who previously coached the Knights, added: "We made some errors but generally our players performed well and in the scrimmage full-back Darren Holden got to experience what a touchdown run feels like."
Knights head coach Ian Ellis added: "The Guernsey players fitted in well and it was a pleasure to have them.
"The team has certainly got talent and I hope the island gets behind them - they deserve the opportunity to represent.
"It was great to see Steve [Rains] again - he is always welcome here along with the the Islanders."
