Grand National winner Liam Treadwell has been confirmed as one of the jockeys for the Guernsey Race Club's 2009 meeting at L'Ancresse. He shocked the racing world by riding 100-1 Mon Mome to victory at Aintree. Treadwell is hoping to get five rides at Guernsey's annual Bank Holiday race meeting on Monday, 4 May. Club vice-president Jim Jamouneau said: "It's not very often we get a top professional jockey to race at L'Ancresse, it is an absolute delight."
