Loveridge retained her Channel Islands women's title

Guernsey table tennis players came away from Jersey with 13 of the 19 Inter-insular titles at the weekend.

Sarnian Garry Dodd won the men's Channel Islands title and Alice Loveridge retained her women's title.

Guernsey also dominated the team events while Jersey's only successes came in the veterans and juniors categories.

Guernsey Table Tennis Association president Derek Webb told the BBC: "[Results] were not quite as good as last year because Jersey have come on."
