Armagh in cruise control
Donegal 1-06 2-09 Armagh

McConville scored and missed first half penalties against Donegal
McConville scored and missed first half penalties
A weakened Armagh continued their unbeaten trek through the NFL Division 1A with a comfortable victory in the end at Ballybofey.

Although they trailed Donegal 1-06 to 1-02 shortly after the interval, which included a missed penatly by Oisin McConville, they dominated for the final 25 minutes.

Donegal just appeared to switch off, as Armagh put their foot on the pedal.

It was Justin McNulty who got the All Ireland champions back on the rails when he finished off a 10-man move after 50 minutes.

From then, there was only going to be one winner as seven points spliced the uprights at regular intervals.

Donegal had held a one-point advantage at the break with McConville making up for his penalty miss with the only goal of the first half.

But an Adrian Sweeney penalty four minutes into the second half seemed to be pointing Donegal to victory.

But they appeared to run into a brick wall as Armagh moved into cruise control to win their third match in succession.

Dublin 0-12 0-11 Tyrone

Dublin substitute Liam Og O hEineachain snatched a dramatic winner at Parnell Park in a stirring Division One clash.

Tyrone had grabbed the initiative in the third quarter, but they could not bury the home county.

Dublin had led by 0-7 to 0-6 at half-time, but should have been further out of sight following a host of missed chances.

Tyrone could have made life very difficult for Dublin five minutes after the restart but Owen Mulligan saw a penalty saved by All Star Stephen Cluxton.

Tyrone, though finally go ahead with three unanswered points in the third period, but Dublin tenaciously fought back until that winning point by O hEineachain.
