Vasey to remain in charge of Stoke Potters |
Malcolm Vasey is returning to Stoke Potters for a second season as the speedway team's manager. Promoter Dave Tattum confirmed that the former Boston and Scunthorpe Saints team manager was returning to the Loomer Road club. He said: "I'm delighted to have Malcolm on board again, he was a breath of fresh air at the club last season. Vasey said: "I'm really pleased to be going back with the club for a second season, I really enjoyed it." "Last year was very difficult but we still have speedway at Stoke this year. "We have had a million conversations over the winter and I feel we have a team that I am more than happy with and have one place left to fill on press and practice day. "We are looking to move the club forward this season and I believe with a bit of luck going our way we can have a successful season, with even better things to come for the club. "Sometimes you have to take a step back to move forward and that is what we have done. All at the club have the ambition to move forward and put Stoke back where we belong in the Premier League," added Vasey.
