Swindon Robins manager Ronnie Russell says his side are short of confidence after their 58-35 away defeat by Poole Pirates on Tuesday. Skipper Leigh Adams was the only Swindon rider to break into double figures with a 16-point haul. Russell said: "We seem to be going through a serious problem getting off to starts. "When things start going your way you get a roll going. It's a confidence thing, and we need confidence." The Elite League favourites led from start to finish with Dane Bjarne Pedersen collecting 14 points for the Dorset side.
