King's Lynn Stars are just two wins away from claiming the Premier League title when Workington Comets visit the Norfolk Arena on Tuesday night.
Maximum points, followed by a similar victory in Sunday's return at Workington would secure it.
But Stars team manager Rob Lyon warns that Workington will not roll over.
"They're vying for the top-four and the play-offs, which will affect how they approach it, but we should claim three points," he told BBC Norfolk.
"We'll look to go to Workington with a lot of confidence and try and claim the league title."
Workington's influential Australian captain Kevin Doolan, who won the Premier League treble with Lynn in 2006, is out injured. And Lyon admits his presence will be missed by the visitors.
"It's sad that Kevin took a heavy knock on Saturday," he said. "It's a big blow to Workington's team. He rides King's Lynn very well."
With Lynn on the verge of winning what could be the first of three trophies this season, Lyon hopes that the Stars supporters can create an electric atmosphere.
"It would be nice," he said. "It doesn't come along every season.
"We've had a bit of success obviously, but when you're on the verge of something special it's nice for the fans to experience it themselves.
"Hopefully they'll come along and give the boys loads of encouragement."
